New Residence, Somerset

The clients bought a large existing property in substantial grounds within the green belt. Initial proposals looked to refurbish the existing house but following a number of adaptations the clients decided to demolish the property and build a new house.

The new house comprises a large entry hall with connecting dining, kitchen and family room areas. A large light filled gallery connects the top of the staircase to the 5 bedrooms.

The scope of the works also included improvements to the external landscaping which now incorporate curved gabion walls to create new terraces making the immediate space around the property more usable.
